Life before CBS…
Before moving to Minnesota, I was the membership and field technician for the Iowa State Education Association. I worked with educators from across the state and made resources accessible to them. I also joined the Iowa State Historical Society and the Iowa House of Representatives throughout my college career.
Adjusting to college life…
My freshman year of college was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, so it’s safe to say the beginning of my time at ISU was uneventful. Once the campus and classes returned to normal, I was able to build relationships with my professors and classmates. It took a lot of time and patience, but finding these connections was worth it.
Favorite part of the job?
Working with the CBS Peer Advisors. I have enjoyed getting to know them and I am excited to continue building the program with them.
Current passions, hobbies, things that give you joy?
I love binge watching tv shows, playing board games and video games with friends, and consistently losing at my local brewery’s trivia night. We try our best, but there is always a downfall.
Be on the lookout for…
Pictures of my dog, Roo. I will show anyone who gives me the chance.
