The Biology House Living Learning Community exists to create a foundation for student success that residents can build upon throughout their college experience. In addition to the typical support provided to students regarding academics and transitioning to college in all residence hall communities, students in Biology House will have opportunities to engage in special programs and events related to the biological sciences. Such opportunities may include social events, study groups, on-site advising, faculty and student research presentations, and career exploration. In addition, students in Biology House are often enrolled in many of the same academic classes.

Biology House is open to incoming first-year students interested in the biological sciences, with priority given to students in the College of Biological Sciences. Participants may include students who are interested in biology or the health sciences, and include majors such as: Biology; Biochemistry; Ecology, Evolution, & Behavior; Genetics, Cell Biology, & Development; Microbiology; Neuroscience; Plant and Microbial Biology; and Cellular and Organismal Physiology.

Biology House is located in Frontier Hall and houses approximately 100 students. Both standard double rooms (two person rooms and a community bathroom) and suite rooms (two double rooms adjoined by private bathroom) are available in the Biology House.
