Dear CBS Community,
You may have heard news of the death of CBS student Christopher Stanley. Chris was known and loved by many. He was set to graduate this spring and had a promising future ahead of him.
A tragedy of this kind touches us all. CBS is a close-knit community, and I know this loss will have a profound impact on many. If you or someone you know is struggling, please know support is available, or you can drop by University Counseling Services in 340 Appleby Hall from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday to talk to a counselor. Representatives from the University Community Response Team will be on hand this Monday, May 8 from 2-3 p.m. in 2-122 MCB to provide supportive services as well. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 12 at 4 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church in downtown Minneapolis.
