Registration and poster submission still open!
The University Imaging Centers are hosting an imaging symposium in celebration of the renewal of our Nikon Center of Excellence status on Wednesday, August 26 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The event will take place at the Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building (CCRB) in room 1-125 with a poster session and reception in the atrium following the presentations.
With over 50 registrants already we wanted to once again extend an invitation for you to join us. Follow this link to visit our symposium page for registration. Representatives from Nikon will be on hand for the presentation of the Center of Excellence status.
The day kicks off at 9 a.m. with an introduction from UIC Program Director Dr. Mark Sanders. Following the introduction the first of our 11 speakers will be begin their presentation. Light refreshments will be served in the morning, and a boxed lunch and UIC-CCRB tour provided around noon. At 4:30 p.m. the authors of posters will be on hand to talk about their research during the reception.
We are still accepting poster submissions for presentation. Space is limited so let us know ASAP if you'd like to present! We are offering free printing to the presenters at our symposium. If you are interested in submitting a poster, please submit an abstract.
