You worked at the University prior to taking on this role. Where did you work and what did those roles entail?
I worked as an event coordinator at the University of Minnesota Foundation for five years. During that time, I planned regional events, dinners at Eastcliff, President Gabel's inauguration, and even a Goldy reunion. I just recently transitioned from events and fundraising associate for CBS to my new role with the marketing and communications team.

What drew you to this position in CBS communications?
Moving into the advancement marketing and communications specialist role felt like the perfect next step in my career. It’s a great opportunity to bring together all of my experiences and put them to use engaging CBS donors and alumni through impactful events and storytelling, and hopefully inspire them to support the college.

What are you looking forward to over the next year in this role?
I'm looking forward to ramping up the college's annual giving program, becoming a Drupal expert, planning the CBS Recognition and Appreciation Dinner, and anything else that comes my way!

What are your favorite places to go to/work at on or near campus?
I enjoy working at Five Watt Coffee on Hennepin Ave with a honey-lavender latte in hand.

What are things you enjoy doing outside of work?
I like taking Peloton classes and exploring the Minneapolis bike trails. I also love going to farmers markets, trying new recipes (Ambitious Kitchen is my favorite!), and going out to eat.
