The Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior (EEB) Club aims to foster a sense of community among students who are majoring in, or are interested in, ecology, evolution, and behavior while creating an inclusive space for everyone. The EEB Club hosts regular speaker events, game nights, and much more!

Henry Rosato

Henry is a senior studying ecology, evolution, and behavior, and this is their second year on the EEB Club officer team! In addition to serving as President of the EEB Club, they conduct research in the Barker and Ranjan labs and are currently in the process of applying to Ph.D. programs in ecology and evolutionary biology. Outside academics, they love drawing, making music, and exploring the Twin Cities with their friends!

Cam is a second-year student from Sartell, MN. They like climbing, fishing, and going to hardcore concerts. They are working in the Snell-Rood Lab and at the RecWell climbing gym in the fall! Come say hi if you see them around! :)

 

Isabelle Lanz

Isabelle (some people call her Izzy) is a sophomore studying ecology, evolution, and behavior. She is originally from Madison, Wisconsin, and loves music, thrifting, photography, and all things science! Isabelle would love to work in a research lab doing field work abroad someday, so she loves hearing about different research through the EEB Club!

Sarah is a senior at the University of Minnesota and is hoping to attend graduate school for marine biology and ecology. Currently, she is working in the McGaugh Lab studying the sleep behavior of Mexican Tetra. Outside of school, Sarah loves watching movies, playing board games/cards, and working out.

Brady is a sophomore this year, majoring in ecology, evolution, and behavior. He likes to travel and spend time with family and friends. While Brady is from St. Louis Park, Minnesota, he is also Canadian and has dual citizenship.

 

Brooklyn Lennes

Brooklyn is a senior studying ecology, evolution, and behavior, and conservation biology. She plans to attend graduate school to study evolutionary biology and has conducted research on climate-driven range shifts in mustelids and sensory gene loss in cavefishes. In her free time, she likes to crochet, read, and take care of her growing houseplant collection.

Cc is a sophomore from Milwaukee, WI, currently majoring in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior and minoring in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology. Cc loves all things ecology, and frogs are her favorite animal. She is currently working in the Xu lab with crickets and is excited to get into field research in the future. Cc also really enjoys thrifting, listening to music, ceramics, and playing video games.

Gabe is a freshman majoring in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior and minoring in Computational Biology. They are from Cannon Falls, Minnesota. In their free time, they enjoy listening to grunge/alternative music, reading, and cooking. Long-term, Gabe plans to work in field research and either teach or do museum curation.
