Glazebrook-Katagiri Lab

Plants in nature are attacked by various pathogens such as fungi, oomycetes, bacteria, and viruses. Plants have evolved a sophisticated the innate immune system. We study how the plant immune system works to confer immunity against plant pathogens. We primarily study the plant immune system via the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana and its pathogens, employing various experimental and computational approaches.
