Support butterfly conservation research

Most US butterflies are in decline with significant population losses over the last 20 years. Butterflies are a key part of our ecosystems, as pollinators and as an important food source; they have also been inspiring people for centuries. Many pockets of habitat available for pollinator restorations are affected by human activity, from pollution to heat stress. Our lab studies how we conserve butterflies in human environments, but cuts to federal funding threaten many of our projects. Support our critical work as we study restoration in human habitats, including roadsides, cropland, and polluted urban areas.

Your financial support will help fund students and early career researchers doing this work. Interested? Please talk with us! We are happy to tell you about our work, take you in the field, or have you tour the lab. Feel free to reach us via email at [email protected].
