In 2022, Plant and Microbial Biology Professor Jennifer Powers set off to visit the dry forests of Cambodia, Brazil and Tasmania with support from a Global Fulbright Award. She packed all the travel essentials. In her case, that included a field art kit. She spent about a month in each location and documented her experience in a nature journal filled with watercolor paintings and handwritten notes.
