The College of Biological Sciences Conservatory & Botanical Collection maintains a diverse collection of living plants from around the world. As one of the most diverse living collections in the Upper Midwest, we care for more than 2,000 specimens spanning more than 1,500 unique taxa. We grow everything from rare and endangered plants, to invasive species, to plants with developing economic potential, and leverage this rich collection to serve university courses, researchers, and the surrounding community.
