The College of Biological Sciences and the University of Minnesota have previously facilitated Postdoctoral fellowships and travel awards. Unfortunately, new positions for several of these awards has temporarily been put on hold. We will let Postdocs know as soon as more information becomes available. Previous, and hopefully future programs/awards:
- Grand Challenges in Biology Postdoctoral Program. This program brings researchers from different fields together to address "grand challenges" connected to the environment and health.
- Presidents Postdoctoral Fellowships. This program offers promising postdoctoral candidates a pathway to a faculty position in EEB or BMBB, while providing the community and mentoring needed to support success.
- Training Research Educators in Minnesota. This program is dedicated to train the next-generation of higher education faculty (particularly those interested in becoming faculty with strong graduate or undergraduate research programs) through a strongly mentored research program (75% effort), coupled to substantive training and experience in teaching (25% effort).
- CBS Travel Award. Based on funding, an application will go out once a year, look out for the email. More information will be provided here when funds are available.
