Station Dining Hall

During the field season, daily buffet-style meals are served in Itasca's award-winning dining hall, located on the station lakeshore. Daily meals are served from mid-May through early October.

    Meal schedule

    Weekday Weekend
    Breakfast 7 - 8 am  
    Lunch 12 - 1 pm Brunch 10 - 11 am
    Dinner 6 - 7 pm Dinner 5 - 6 pm

    Dietary restrictions

    Our kitchen staff is familiar and experienced with accommodating special dietary needs, and dishes are strictly prepared and labeled for people with food allergies. We provide vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and other dietary options upon request. The kitchen will attempt to accommodate requests, but it may not be possible to prepare separate options to meet requests for every meal. Group coordinators are responsible for gathering information about participant dietary restrictions and communicating them with at least three weeks prior to arrival. Individuals that are not part of a group are responsible for communicating directly with about their needs.
