Student opportunities at Itasca
Station Intern
Itasca Biological Station and Laboratories (IBSL) hires two student interns for the summer field season to assist with station programming, research, and facilities. IBSL is a unique work environment; interns live and work alongside other full-time staff at the station. In addition to daily responsibilities that help the station run, interns have the opportunity to assist with fieldwork for various ongoing research projects and courses.
Student interns need to be organized, self-motivated, have a strong interest in biology and the outdoors, and enjoy being around others. Interns are provided on-site housing and meals in the dining hall (during normal operating times) at no cost.
