Station Intern

Itasca Station hires two student interns each year to assist with station educational and outreach programming, field research, and operations. IBSL is a unique work environment; interns live and work alongside other full-time staff at the station.

Student interns need to be organized, self-motivated, have a strong interest in biology and the outdoors, and enjoy being around others. Interns are provided on-site housing and meals in the dining hall (during normal operating times) at no cost.

Position requirements:

Current UMN student
40 hours/week
Work evenings and weekends, as needed
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 30 pounds
